CSIS: The Good, The Bad and the What's behind the Curtain!?

CSIS, is the Canadian Security Intelligence Service or what the conspiracists call Canada's Spy Agency. This agency protects the privacy and well-being of our country. Bill C-44 was passed in the House of Commons shortly after a terrorist attack in Ottawa, also known as the day Canada lost its innocence. What this bill does is give a farther reach for CSIS in investigation threats both on home soil and abroad.

The good with this bill enactment is further protection of our individual rights and freedoms. Our country takes threats seriously and will enforce if necessary. The bad of this bill enactment is loss of privacy. It is a bittersweet edge to a bill of this nature. Our free flowing society locks down and suspicions raise with higher security.

What's behind the curtain? What are the ulterior motives in a bill of this magnitude for an Agency of that caliber. Those are the questions that conspiracy theorists are gnawing on and maybe one day it will be answered.
